Porto extends TV deal

Portuguese FC Porto is continuing their television rights contract with Olivedesportos Publicidade, Televisao e Media SA through to the end of the 13/14 season. Olivedesportos is part of a group owned by Joaquin Oliveira called the Controlinveste Group which was founded back in the year 2005 following merge of Lusomundo Media and Olivedesportos.
The deal is reported to be for EUR 51.75 million, and will allow Olivedesportos exclusive rights for both national and international matches of the club.
