Three United Kingdom broadcasters have struck deals with UEFA for UEFA Cup airing rights from 2009 through 2012.

Channel Five, ITV and Setanta Sports have won the rights. Five will have the first pick of matches in each round as well as the final and the highlights package.

The deal allows Five 15 live UEFA Cup matches a year. ITV has second pick of seven contests, five third picks and three fourth selections throughout the tournament.

ITV's primarily will use its new digital ITV4 channel for broadcasting the competition after 2009.

Setanta acquired the rights for 32 live matches a season.
