Joint effort lands Romanian league TV rights

Intact and RCS RDS have combined in an effort to land Romanian First Division rights.
The two companies paid EUR 85 million for three years of broadcasting, starting with the 2008-2009 season.
Intact controls commercial TV channel Antena 1. RCS-RDS has a DTH platform with 600,000 subscribers.
