UEFA announced its EURO 2008 broadcast partners in Finland will be YLE and MTV3.
The deal closes the broadcast rights sales process in all of the Nordic countries, as the Finnish pact comes on the heels of agreements with broadcasters in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Iceland.
All 31EURO 2008 matches will be broadcast live and exclusively by YLE on a free-to-air basis. MTV3 will broadcast daily highlights programmes throughout the tournament.
The broadcast rights to the UEFA European Football Championships are being sold on a market-by-market basis for the first time in the 46-year history of the tournament. SPORTFIVE is the exclusive sales agent for the European broadcast rights.
