Italian football clubs will share the wealth, striking an accord on revenue splitting the TV rights among clubs.
Forty percent will be divided equally, 30 percent by way of club history and 30 percent on the basis of crowd and TV viewership.
With Fiorentina out, 15 of the 19 clubs approved the deal. Atalanta, Cagliari, Palermo and Siena were against the pact.
"The clubs' presidents proved to have a great sense of duty," said Football league chairman Antonio Matarrese. "It wasn't easy. Our proposals have been taken up and this solution can strengthen Italian football on the whole."
