Italian Serie A media rights in Asia were completed after an agreement by Dentsu Inc. with Media Partners & Silva Limited.

The home matches of several Italian clubs, including AC Milan, Internazionale, Juventus, AS Roma, Lazio, Fiorentina, Torino, Messina, Genoa, Catania and others, are included in the package.

The agreement covers three Serie A seasons, beginning with the 2007–2008 season.

Japan and all of Asia, excluding Indonesia and the Middle East, will be covered by the agreement with Dentsu.

Dentsu will be the exclusive sales agent in Japan and Asia for the live and delayed broadcasting rights, which include global free-to-air television, satellite television, cable TV, IP TV, mobile phone and Internet broadcasting.

The distribution of the AC Milan Channel TV will also be included in the partnership deal.

The Serie A rights will be marketed jointly by Dentsu and Media Partners & Silva, whose Asian activity is conducted by Italian rights expert Andrea Radrizzani.

This is the first time Dentsu will be acting as an Asian sales representative for the broadcasting rights of an overseas football league.

In the future, Dentsu wants to build sales of its broadcasting rights business in Asia and other overseas international markets.
