Everton uses eQ system to aid customer service

The Premiere League club has installed a new eQ system that will help the club’s fan store work more efficiently. The club’s fan store is located just outside the stadium and on match days became overcrowded with fans. As such, shop workers and patrons sometimes grew frustrated with the heavy traffic. Using an eQ system designed by Tensator, the club hopes to alleviate any problems.

The system works by using a series of computer-controlled monitors that audibly and visually direct customers waiting in line to the next available register. “Our shop is all about good service – our supporters are normally in a hurry to get to the match – so our queuing system needs to be reliable, fast and efficient,” Gary Wilton, Everton FC Club Shop Manager said.

The eQ system from Tensator delivers on all counts. We’ve also noticed a reduction in the pressure on staff and a increase in customer satisfaction since the system was installed.” The system can also be used as a marketing tool, displaying details of current promotions to waiting customers.
