The Eredivisie club has moved from selling tickets over the counter to selling them on-line.  The club staff, with the support from Glasgow-based Carnegie Information Systems, was able to roll out a complete e-business channel for the club in days. "It was very successful move," said club’s director of finance and operations, Jan Willem van Dop. "We got a really positive reaction from our fans to the idea of online ticketing and they found it much easier buying tickets that way. We could save serious money by selling tickets on the web." The club already keeps in touch with more than 250,000 fans worldwide through streaming video broadcasts, e-mails, e-newsletters and through its web site.
