Rippleffect remains Everton's new media partner

Rippleffect will stay as online partner for English Everton after inking a five-year deal worth six figures.

Rippleffect has been a major source of the club's emphasis on new media development, including the creation of the new website, evertonfc.com

The website offers exclusive downloadable and interactive content, in addition to RSS news feeds and Everton TV, a subscription based video on demand service.

The Premier League club recently became the first UK football club to produce its own dedicated podcast.

"Everyone at Everton has serious ambitions and we clearly need a partner who can match those ambitions," said Mark Rowan, head of communication at Everton. "We have found that in Rippleffect, time and time again, providing Everton with knowledge and creativity to take the club's online activity to the next level."

Rippleffect is working with the club to enhance its offering to its commercial partners which include channel sponsorships and other forms of online advertising.

"I am delighted at our re-appointment by Everton in such a prestigious deal," Rippleffect MD Ben Hatton said. "The new website is a tribute to the hard work of Rippleffect commercial, technical and creative teams."
