Shrewsbury Town FC has invested in a new ticketing and CRM system, TALENT Sport, developed by UK-based technology company Software4Sport, in order to drive ticket sales and offer customers a more sophisticated service.
The club is moving to a new stadium over the summer. To coincide with the move, the Club has invested in a new up-to-the-minute ticketing and customer relationship management (CRM) system, TALENT Sport, which will be installed and operational in time for the new season.
TALENT Sport provides the complete stadium management system designed for sports clubs and venues. It is built in a modular structure, so on top of the core ticketing and CRM functionality, clubs can add modules such as web sales, automated telephone sales, marketing, corporate sales and loyalty scheme management.
The system is used by a wide range of clubs, including Liverpool FC, Newcastle United FC, Manchester City FC, Sunderland FC, Norwich City FC, Sheffield United FC, Mansfield Town FC, Saracens, Leicester Tigers, Northampton Saints, Natal Sharks, Hull Kingston Rovers, Castleford Tigers, Bradford Bulls, Durham CCC, and Chester and Bangor-on-Dee racecourses.
John Howarth, Club Secretary, says, "It's an exciting time for Shrewsbury. We've come a long way over the last couple of years. The team have worked really hard to get us to the play-offs and the supporters have been fantastic. Moving to a new stadium will give us a great new pitch and facilities. "We bought TALENT Sport as we wanted a system that would help us manage our ticketing more efficiently. It will power a new web sales service which we plan to launch next season. It was very important for us to select a system with good CRM functionality as it will help us offer our supporters a better level of service. We're also going to use it to capture information about our supporters so that we can be more sophisticated in our marketing and communications."
