Barcelona adopt ProScout database technology

The Primera Liga club has signed up to use ProScout7, a product of Birmingham-based coaching database system developer Scout7. The system allows clubs to identify and monitor youth players from around the world by using a computer database.

The ProScout7 system allows managerial, coaching and administrative staff of clubs to co-ordinate and monitors their international scouting and recruitment activities. Scout7 Business Development Manager for Southern Europe, Pelayo Lavilla, worked closely with FC Barcelona to ensure the successful implementation of the system at the club. Barcelona joins 60 other clubs across Europe using the ProScout 7 system, including fellow Primera Liga clubs Villareal and Sevilla.
