The Premier League signed a two-season partnership with Coral Eurobet to become its official online betting partner. Coral Eurobet's online betting arm, coral.co.uk, will provide the club official website, ChelseaFC.com, with an exclusive co-branded section, containing a wide range of football and sports betting odds as well as a host of special club related bets. ChelseaFC.com will promote the dedicated Coral section on its homepage, as well as in a dedicated betting and gaming section, and will communicate topical Chelsea odds, specific Chelsea poker tournaments, and the latest casino product launches via its regular newsletter.

In another deal, the club is to offer ‘real-time’ web and mobile photo services to fans. Two new services will be supplied: a photo gallery on the club’s website updated live during matches and the delivery of action photos live to mobile phones during matches. The club will use EMPICS’ ShootLive technology to deliver images in less than 60 seconds. “With ShootLive, new media providers and rights holders can increase revenue from new markets, while controlling their costs,” said Phil O’Brien, chief executive at EMPICS, the photo-licensing arm of the Press Association.
