The EURO 2008 championship website, euro2008.com has drawn in 500 percent more visitors than euro2004.com. The website hits totaled more than ten million for the month of June alone, so far.

According to David Farrelly, the Head of Web and Content for UEFA Media Technologies (UMET), there are more visitors from the United Kingdom than any other single country.

This is despite the fact that there are no UK clubs in the competition this year.

There were also a considerable number of site users from the United States and Germany.

The website, available in seven European languages and three Asian languages, was launched 100 days before the start of the competition.

Live streaming video content is available on the site feature the 16 competing teams, as well as 130 prior matches in the history of the tournament.
