Football League Interactive (FLi) signed two-year deal with PokerStars.com, which becomes the exclusive online poker partner to the 77 club websites network. The deal is to enable fans to play against each other online to win seats and major prizes at worldwide poker tournaments. The deal will be supported by a marketing campaign delivered via the club websites expected to include promotion across the websites and via FLi’s database of 1.5 million registered users. FLi, owned by the Football League, is the digital rights holder for 77 English and Welsh Football Clubs, including six from the FA Premier League, 67 from The Football League and four from the Conference. It was created to manage and develop the internet and mobile rights of its participating clubs, and is the UK’s largest digital football rights holder.
