Sport 1 unveils Champions League Internet coverage

UEFA Champions League matches will be available on a pay-per-view basis via Chellomedia's Sport1 channel website.
The first eight Champions League matches will be transmitted live on www. sport1.nl for EUR 1.3 a match. The price includes pre-and post-match commentary.
Chellomedia acquired a further 55 percent stake in the Central European channel Sport1 for EUR 43 million last week, bringing its stake up to 80 percent.
Sport1 currently packages and distributes sports programmes in Central and Eastern Europe under the Sport1 and Sport2 brand names to more than 3.5 million subscribers. Sport1 and Sport2 are distributed by all major cable and DTH operators in the region.
