UEFA EURO 2008 launches Online Video Service

The official UEFA EURO 2008™ website offers fans cutting- edge video coverage of the tournament.

The official UEFA website for the UEFA European Football Championship™, euro2008.com, launched its video service for the forthcoming final tournament - allowing fans worldwide to follow matches live and on demand by downloading highlights and full match reruns.

The video offering is available now on UEFA's website, with options to watch an individual matches or get the EURO2008 Pass, a package which includes all of the 31 matches in the UEFA EURO 2008™ tournament.

UEFA also offers access to any of more than 8,000 individual matches from the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup, UEFA European Under-21 Championship, and UEFA European Football Championship™ since 1992. Users will have access to stream or download highlights or replays of full matches, and can also browse through key match events.

In addition UEFA's website will offer fans a free daily magazine show throughout the month of June. This will be a twice-daily production comprising interviews, reviews and the latest news from the streets of Austria and Switzerland, as well as from all the team training camps - providing exclusive views from behind the scenes at the tournament. The show will be an eight-minute video, with the content also being made available as a vodcast.

UEFA is also making all UEFA EURO 2008™ final tournament matches available via a live internet simulcast produced on behalf of, and in cooperation with UEFA broadcast partners and rights-holders for UEFA EURO 2008™. The availability and list of the simulcast per country and broadcaster, as well as the prices, will be available on UEFA's website on the day of each match.
