The Major League Soccer club New York/New Jersey MetroStars dismissed media reports claiming that the proposed new 25,000 seats, US$100m stadium at Harrison was in jeopardy of collapse due to costs. General Manager Nick Sakiewicz assured that the stadium project, which would see the end of the club’s tenancy agreement with NFL club New York Giants, is still on track.
