Sheffield United submitted plans for leisure complex

The Championship club has submitted plans for a casino and leisure complex at Bramall Lane that will create 1,300 jobs, plus a further 300 construction jobs. The Bramall Lane south stand will be completely redeveloped to incorporate the entertainment complex, which will feature a casino, eight-storey hotel, ground development (including a new stand for the disabled), restaurants and underground parking.
