Turner Construction is to built Chicago Fire’s stadium

The Major League Soccer club has announced that the company is to handle the construction works for its new US$70m 20,000-capacity football (soccer) specific built on an 80-acre site in Bridgeview. The construction work will create 700 jobs, with further 500 plus jobs being created once the stadium is completed and in use. Work will be made in co-operation with sports architecture firm Rossetti. "Innovative ideas are developed in the Fire stadium that will create an experience for the fans that cannot be found anywhere in this country. This will be the most intimate, loud and exciting soccer stadium in America - a true home for soccer in America" Rossetti director Timothy R. Lambert told media.
