Public to help Swindon Town to identify new stadium spot
England - 25 October, 2004
The League One hopes of building a 20,000-seater stadium in the west of the town were effectively ended in July after councilors voted to keep a community forest at the Shaw Park site where the club had planned to build the arena. Developer St Mowden is keen to find new land and chief executive Bob Holt is enlisting the help of the public to identify the spot.
