Price of new home soars in Liverpool

The new stadium plans for English Liverpool will cost at least GBP 150 million more than originally anticipated.
The new cost is estimated at GBP 400 million on the stadium targeted with an August 2011 finish date. The stadium ideas have been changed for additional seating, leading to more bureaucracy.
Liverpool needs the City Council's approval for the new plans at a meeting on 5 November.
"Our fans are wonderful and over time we'll be able to give them the amenities, comfort and ease of getting tickets they have never had before," co-owner Tom Hicks said.
