FMC caters to Leicester City

English Leicester City has done a five-year deal with Facilities Management Catering (FMC) to cater its events and stock its stadium eateries.

FMC, a subsidiary of Compass Group, will run the conference, banqueting, exhibition and catering operations at the club's ground.

On match days, the FMC catering team will run the 1884 Sports Bar, Fusions Restaurant and the 44 executive suites around the stadium. On non-event days, the sales team will manage the stadium with conference, banqueting and event business.

"FMC has a proven track record in catering for major events and is a recognised industry leader in hospitality," said Tim Davies, chief executive of Leicester City. "Not only is its offer the best, it also has ideal experience for the varied needs of Leicester City FC. We are therefore confident the team will help establish our development as one of the leading sporting, leisure and conference venues in the UK."
