Atletico Madrid it to built a new training centre

The Primera Liga club bosses Enrique Cerezo and Miguel Angel Gil Marin have held several meetings with the city authorities to accelerate proceedings for the new €50m complex, which will be built in Alcorcon. The Ciudad Deportiva project includes 120 hectares worth of land, 40 times the area that is used by the Vicente Calderon stadium. The new site is expected to become one of Europe’s premier training centres and will include accommodation for players, various pitches, medical units, a private car park and green spaces to help create a congenial environment.
