Zenit St Petersburg to improve stadium

The Premier Liga club is to re-build its Petrovsky stadium at a cost of approximately £100m. The decision to upgrade the arena was taken by Alexei Miller, the head of natural gas monopoly Gazprom, which is Zenit's main sponsor, and Saint Petersburg governor Valentina Matviyenko.
