|
FIFA has launched a handbook on the quality control and testing of artificial pitch technologies following collaboration with UEFA, which sought to establish a set of unified standards. Entitled ‘FIFA Quality Concept Handbook of Test Methods and Requirements for Artificial Football Surfaces’, the manual explains the proper procedure necessary to test the latest artificial turf surfaces in laboratories and in the field in order to ensure the development of higher quality and more uniform standards for artificial surfaces.
