West Ham sees profit in hosting Tottenham

Adjust font size: Decrease font Enlarge font
With English Tottenham Hotspur perhaps needing a place to play if its home park is redone, West Ham wants to talk with the club about sharing its home turf.

West Ham believes that sharing its pitch with Tottenham could bring in more cash, as West Ham eyes a change of home pitch.

Tottenham has been looking at the possibility of renovating White Hart Lane, and expanding capacity to around 52,000. Revamping the stadium could take up to two seasons, which would also be West ham's final two years at Upton Park.

West Ham secured negotiating rights on a 32-acre site, looking at a stadium with a capacity of as much 60,000.
