English Tottenham is putting together a team of experts to help re-design its home base at White Hart Lane.
Tony Winterbottom, formerly of the London Development Authority, now is putting together plans to expand Tottenham's White Hart Lane to about 52,000 capacity. The project is set to cost GBP 300 million, with GBP 150 million borrowed.
The club also has architect Ken Shuttleworth on hire. Shuttleworth is a member of the firm that designed Wembley.
Tottenham looked into play at Wembley but were denied by the FA. Now the club is looking at Wembley as a temporary ground while its home is being rebuilt. Tottenham also is examining playing at West Ham about its home park. Grounds outside London are another consideration.
