FA fined Pires for wearing Puma

The French Football Federation has informed that English Premier League club Arsenal and France international midfielder Robert Pires will be fined for wearing Puma t-shirt on international duty instead of the adidas garment.

Although the German sportswear manufacturer claimed that the playerÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s mistake cost them in the region of ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚Â¬50,000, the fine amount has yet to be decided. The amount paid by the player will be given to a charity.
