The Primera Liga club is weighing up a proposal from Spanish Internet firm Betandwin.com for a three-season deal for €15m a-year which could be rise to €18m if the club will win the UEFA Champions League. Betandwin.com is a leading Internet betting specialist who has its headquarters in Vienna, Austria and was founded in 1999. The company receives 3,000 bets a day from over 30 different sports, and boasts over 30 ultra modern virtual casinos which generated revenue of over US$800m. If the club will accept the offer, it would be the second biggest shirt sponsorship deal in history behind German Bundesliga club Bayern Munich's €17m a-year deal with mobile communications network provider T-Mobile. "The club has received detailed information and has ordered a complimentary analysis. This is a process will continue until we have the necessary information to make a definitive decision. Despite this being an interesting and important offer, the issue remains open and other possibilities will be studied," board secretary Xavier Cambra commented to media.
