The English Football Association (FA) has landed a GBP 10 million sponsorship deal with McDonald’s.

The contract is to last for four years and will contribute to England’s grassroots efforts. One of the goals of the agreement is to assist at least 75 per cent of the youth clubs in receiving FA Charter Standard status and help deliver 150 Charter Standard Leagues by December 2014.

The deal will support 400,000 volunteers and 200,000 coaches for the next four years.

McDonald’s has been a FA Community Partner for eight years. They have thus far supported the training and recruitment of more than 10,000 coaches for the local community.
