The Major League Soccer has signed a ten-year agreement with German-based sportswear manufacturer adidas worth an estimated US$150m. The agreement is the biggest sponsorship deal in its history and MLS will allow its sponsorship deals with Nike, Puma, Reebok and Atletica expire over the course of the next two seasons, leaving adidas as the sole sponsor and license product supplier to all MLS clubs. The company will also supply official match balls and become the only sportswear brand to have advertising rights at all MLS games.
