Barclays appointed Ipsos and Arena to track PL sponsorship

Sports and lifestyle sponsorship agency Arena International has been appointed by UK-based bank Barclays to activate the company’s three-year Premier League sponsorship programme. Ipsos UK have been appointed by the company to track the effectiveness of programme. Arena will continue to cover strategic consultancy, sponsorship activation and media relations, while Ipsos will provide a variety of studies designed with the objective of assessing the effectiveness of individual elements of the brand communications and their contribution to the overall brand health, which is primarily focused for the UK market but is likely to extend internationally and to cover all of Barclays Group’s major brands, including Barclays, Barclaycard and Woolwich.
