Barclays extends Premier League sponsorship

The global finance company has announced a three-year, £ 57m value, extension deal to its sponsorship of the English Premier League. However, Barclays take over as main sponsors from its subsidiary Barclaycard to increase brand awareness in markets out of the UK. Barclays also announced it will sponsor the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA), the League Managers’ Association (LMA) and the Football Writers’ Association over the next three years.
