AC Milan joins forces with BetandWin

Austrian online betting company BetandWin.com has signed on to be a sponsor with Italian AC Milan.

Online-Casinos.com, an online gambling news service, reported that Betandwin.com inked a sponsorship deal with the top Italian club that will place the Bet & Win logo on team shirts for the next four seasons, covering all national and international matches.

"We have set ourselves the goal of establishing BetandWin as the leading international online gaming brand," said betandwin Co-CEO, Manfred Bodner. "Soccer is easily the most important and most attractive betting sport, [so] it obviously makes sense to seek a partnership with an internationally known, successful top club."

Over the course of the past four seasons, AC Milan’s jerseys have been seen by more than 50 billion people, appearing in some 3,000 hours of television broadcasting. A recent market survey showed AC Milan and the club’s new sponsor are among the best known brands in this sector.

The Italian government has banned online gambling web sites, though they seemingly lifted the ban on Maltese-based outfits.

A few weeks ago, English Manchester United was prepared to join Mansion Poker in a multimillion-dollar shirt deal that fell through in the final hours.
