Hans Segmuller, a manufacturer of upholstered furniture, and FC Augsburg (FCA) have extended their successful collaboration. Its commitment to the second-division soccer club gives the company based in Friedberg near Augsburg a comprehensive TV presence. The sponsorship package covers TV touchline advertising as well as a presence on the press conference backdrops and a 72-m rotating off-board. The partnership was brokered by FCA's marketing partner SPORTFIVE.

"Our company has very close ties with the Augsburg area. The cooperation with FC Augsburg is very close to our hearts and, of course, our support of Augsburg also builds awareness beyond regional borders," explains senior sales manager Reinhold Gutebier.

"For FCA, the renewal of the exclusive partnership is a very positive sign right now and we look forward to further cooperation with our partner Segmuller," emphasized Augsburg's managing director Andreas Rettig.

Andreas Heim, head of the SPORTFIVE team that promotes the club, is also pleased: "We are naturally delighted that an important and reliable partner like Segmuller continues to rely on FC Augsburg as an advertising vehicle."

Segmuller is a large company in south Germany with eight furnishing houses and more than 4000 employees.
