Mobile phone company BenQ will place its logo on Real Madrid's shirts for EUR 100 million, making the Spanish club is now the best renumerated in the world in terms of sponsorship.
English Chelsea, for instance, only receives GBP 10 million a year from Samsung.
BenQ, which was purchased by Siemens in October, will have the logo on the club shirt until 2010, and display static publicity at the stadium.
Current sponsors Siemens have an agreement in place until June of this year, and are paying EUR 17 million a season. The new contract, which is worth EUR 25 million a season, will see the club shirt with a BenQ-Siemens logo.
BenQ is the seventh major sponsor of the Primera Liga club following electronic goods manufacturers Zanussi, Teka and Siemens, plus dairies Parmalat and Reny Picot.
