English Manchester United has an official bookmaking and online gaming partner in Betfred.

The agreement will allow betting kiosks in the stadium and corporate areas will be re-branded during the three-year deal. A co-branded Betfred-Manchester United website will offer exclusive Betfred gaming including poker, casino and traditional betting.

"This is a dream come true," said Betfred owner Fred Done. "I've been a season ticket holder at United for 45 years and the opportunity to be an official partner was a deal I could not pass up.

"This deal is about associating ourselves with the world's best. United is the world's biggest football club. We have some great ideas and lots to offer United fans. And if I don't know what they want who will?"

Betfred will be creating fan promotions and joining with MUTV with gaming specials for viewers.

"Betfred is a growing worldwide brand and is one of the most respected of all UK bookmakers," said David Gill, the club's chief executive. "Fred's business acumen, together with his love for the club can only be good for our fans and our business."

Earlier this year, Manchester United signed a record-breaking GBP 56 million, four-year shirt sponsorship deal with American insurance group AIG.
