Preston North End getting off to a great start

English Preston North End's newly-completed stand is generating a lot of buzz, following its latest sponsorship deal with The New Football Pools.

Chairman Derek Shaw states he is extremely happy with the new partnership, indicating that The New Football Pools - whose name is displayed at the top of the new structure - have made a "significant contribution to the look of the new Pavilion."

Sportech is responsible for the re-launch of The New Football Pools, offering a substantial first prize through amalgamation of the former treble chance firms.

In addition to the latest deal, the stadium will also welcome the return of the Deepdale clock. The new clock will be two-metres in diameter and display the words "Deepdale Preston."

Preston North End is amid a string of deals, following the signing of a contract with Central Lancs Primary Care Trust as new stand tenants.
