SPORTFIVE joins Suzuki to 'Qualifiers 2010' sponsorship programme

Suzuki has acquired a sponsorship package for 170 official qualification matches between European football national teams on the road to the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ 53 national football teams from around Europe will be competing for one of the 13 tickets to the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ during the 15-month qualifying season from August 2008 through November 2009. Suzuki Motor Corporation will be part of the action as 'Official Partner of the Qualifiers 2010'. This full-service European sponsorship package will ensure that Suzuki Motor Corporation, one of the world's leading car manufacturers, gets a share of the limelight at 170 qualification matches in all 53 participating countries around Europe. The exclusive package combines the marketing rights of numerous European football associations under a single product roof. The package merges classic panel advertising with an array of further advertising rights, new media rights, promotion- and hospitality opportunities. Worldwide television coverage throughout the 15 months of qualifying (from August 2008 through November 2009) will ensure a broad international communication platform. By sponsoring the most exciting sporting event in Europe, Suzuki Motor Corporation wishes to spread their global company slogan, "Way of Life!" to all the world's football fans.
