Blitz Vision was chosen by the Football Association (FA) to be the exclusive supplier of audio/visual equipment for all future FA events, throughout the U.K.
The events include the FA International (England senior squad) matches, FA Cup Semi Finals, FA Cup Final and the FA Community Shield.
Blitz Vision will provide the FA with a full range of AV equipment and will work exclusively with Tony Ball Associates, which was chosen by the FA to produce its events.
The first event worked by Blitz Vision in its new capacity was the friendly match between England and Spain at Old Trafford on 7 February, 2007. Blitz supplied a range of technologies that included a multi plasma rig and a multi camera rig that allowed for live editing during the game.
"We're delighted to be partnering with The FA and are looking forward to the imminent opening of the new Wembley Stadium where our team will become a regular fixture," said Paul Hutton, managing director of Blitz.
"We went through a fairly rigorous process to choose suppliers who would support our vision for how we needed our sponsor hospitality facility to look and feel," said Fiona Swainston, who manages supplier relationships for the FA.
