Coca-Cola will continue to back Eintracht Frankfurt during the next three years. Coca-Cola Erfrischungsgetränke AG, for which Main-Taunus Getränkeindustrie (Main-Taunus Beverage Industry) is responsible in the Rhine-Main region, has signed a new sponsorship contract with the Bundesliga football club through the year 2010. As a Premium Partner to Eintracht, Coca-Cola remains one of the club's most important sponsors. The contract brokered by SPORTFIVE includes the supply of soft (non-alcoholic) beverages, advertising promotions in the Commerzbank Arena, as well as special promotions for the fans.

"Eintracht has enormous appeal and charisma in the region. More than 26,000 season tickets are splendid proof of this," said Thomas Kohlmorgen, managing director of Getränkeindustrie Main-Taunus Gmbh & Co. KG, a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Erfrischungsgetränke AG. "We are very pleased to be continuing our long-term partnership with Frankfurter Eintracht in the years ahead."

"Our cooperation with Coca-Cola to date has gone very well. We are delighted that we can continue to rely on the support of a world-class brand like Coca-Cola in the future," declared Heribert Bruchhagen, President of Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG.

Coca-Cola has a long and strong tradition of partnership with football. In fact, Coca-Cola was the purveyor of soft drinks to the very first Football World Cup, in 1930 in Uruguay. Coca-Cola also was one of the main sponsors of the 2006 FIFA World Cup. The company's cooperation with the German Football Federation, DFB, has been ongoing for over 25 years, and its partnership with the FIFA was extended through 2022.
