Wembley is seeking 10 official suppliers on the tier beneath four founding partner sponsors. Carlsberg, Microsoft and Umbro have filled three slots. The cost of the founding partner sponsorship package is GBP 1 million-GBP 1.5 million a year.
Walkers' contract includes providing vending machines to the venue, while giving the brand the right to use official Wembley trademarks and corporate hospitality opportunities.
The tie-in with Wembley is not Walkers first push into football stadium sponsorship, as it holds the naming rights to the Walkers Bowl, home of Coca-Cola Championship club Leicester City.
