The Bundesliga club has renewed the sponsorship deal with the tire manufacturer. Hankook will remain a partner of the club for the 2005/06 season. Hankook reported that the cooperation with the club has strengthened the popularity of their brand in Germany. “Bundesliga football offers us the ideal opportunity to reach our target-group,” Byeong-Jin Lee, chief executive of Hankook Germany commented to media.

Another important deal was signed with Kabel Deutschland (KDG), the largest cable carrier in Germany with 10m cable TV customers, many of whom are football fans. KDG becomes an exclusive partner of the club and the company will receive TV advertising presence on the panels and in the back entrance area, as well numerous promotions at the Fritz Walter Stadium. “TV pros meet football pros in this deal,” said Kabel Deutschland CEO Roland Steindorf.
