The Bundesliga club signed one-year deal with the Frankfurter Rundschau, Germany’s fourth biggest quality newspaper, to become the club’s new print-media partner. According to the deal the Frankfurter Rundschau will receive extensive sponsorship package which includes advertising on hoardings, VIP tickets for the recently opened Commerzbank-Arena, and a “player of the match” presentation during home games.
Another deal was signed with telecommunications provider, Euphony. Euphony is to provide a number of advertising services on match days, such as SMS drawings. In addition, Euphony offers various MMS services like images of club’s players, match results, club songs and logos etc.
The two new deals complete the sponsorship structure designed by the club’s marketing arm, SPORTFIVE. In its first year of collaboration with SPORTFIVE, the club now has five premium partners, 18 regular partners and four suppliers, as well as its main sponsor and kit supplier.
