The Bundesliga signed a one-year deal with Samsung, the Korean electronics firm. Samsung has become an official partner of the club, and holds an option for extension until 2009. The club already plans a tour in South Korea on 2006, which could include a pre-season tournament with Chelsea (sponsored by Samsung) and Suwon Bluewings (owned by Samsung). The club also announced a deal with publishing firm Bauer Media joining as official sponsors.
