English Everton has wrapped up a six-figure deal with Sportech, the company that owns Liverpool-based Littlewoods Football Pools.
Sportech will become Everton's official football gaming partner for the upcoming season, which starts 19 August when the club faces newly-promoted Watford.
Everton's current shirt sponsor is Chang Beer.
The deal will feature online and offline sponsorship and marketing initiatives to promote the company's gaming portfolio, which includes the Football Pools, Spot The Ball and online casino, poker and bingo products.
"It is a multi-faceted deal that will further strengthen Littlewoods Pools' relationship with football, as well as ensuring their ever increasing collection of gaming brands are seen by tens of thousands of Everton fans both home and abroad each week," said Keith Wyness, chief executive at Everton. "The new partnership also gives Everton a further chance to strengthen its own portfolio of major sponsorships and this latest opportunity will see both businesses gain mutual benefit in both the short and long-term."
Sportech will introduce a matchday Spot the Ball competition, a dedicated weekly gaming section on the club's website, sponsorship of Everton's Predictor Game and a series of communications to the club's databases.
"As the club's official gaming partner, we're also enhancing the range of online games available at evertonfc.com and improving the overall experience for Everton fans who regularly visit the site," said Ian Penrose, chief executive of Sportech.
