Best Buy sponsors MLS Fire kit

MLS Chicago Fire has landed its first kit sponsor in the form of electronic retailer Best Buy.
Terms of the deal were not yet disclosed, but Fire general manager John Guppy said he was seeking a multi-year USD 2.5-million deal for the front of the jersey.
It is one of the few shirt deals for MLS clubs. Herbalife has a USD 5-million a year, five-year jersey sponsorship deal with the L.A. Galaxy, signing on after David Beckham joined the club.
