Espirito Santo Bank renews sponsorship agreement with top clubs

The bank has reached an agreement for a lucrative new shirt sponsorship deal with Benfica, Porto and Sporting Lisbon until the end of the 2006/07 season. The bank is already the sponsor of the Portuguese national team. All three clubs will wear the name of the bank on the back of their shirts. A BES statement revealed that the return from the deals is 17 times greater than the initial investment made in 2004.
