Watford announces new sponsorship deals

The Championship club signed a two-year deal with loans.co.uk to become the official sponsor of the club. loans.co.uk which was voted Watford and North West London business of the year 2004 is to raise profile with the sponsorship. "We feel that any football club, whether it's Manchester United or Watford, sits at the heart of its community and we believe we can play an important role by supporting our local club,” Chief Executive Steve Hayes commented to media. The club signed also a two-year technical sponsorship agreement with Italian sports goods manufacturer Diadora. Fabio Malipiero, Managing Director of Diadora UK said: "This is a great deal for Diadora and we look forward to building a long and prosperous partnership with Watford. The club and their fans epitomize everything we believe in at Diadora, with their passion for their team and their total commitment and desire for success."
