Shirt manufacturers JAKO will continue to provide the kits for the 2. Bundesliga in the next two years. "Given our successful cooperation and Alemannia’s strong showing, it was only logical to extend our partnership," said Marc Oberndörfer, marketing director of the German-based sports brand. The club qualified for the 2004/05 UEFA Cup after finishing runners-up to 1.Bundesliga champions Werder Bremen in last season’s DFB Cup final and became the first-ever German second division side to reach the knock-out round of the last 32 teams. Meanwhile, main sponsors Aachener Münchener - one of Germany’s most important insurance companies also revealed that it is set to continue its long-lasting partnership with the club for another season until 2006.
